MakersGround developed Gomicron\u2019s 3D printing system across mechanical design, PCB electronics, firmware and control, slicing software, prototyping and manufacturing. The engineering work connects the physical printer with its printing tray, preparation software and UV curing hardware.<\/p>\n

Challenge<\/h2>\n

A resin printing product needs its mechanical assembly, electronics and software to work as one system. Gomicron\u2019s development brought the printer, printing tray, print-preparation environment and curing unit into a complete product workflow.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/h2>\n

The system uses DLP resin printing with a dedicated tray and a separate UV curing unit. Its software environment provides slicing, support generation and shape analysis. MakersGround\u2019s contribution covered the engineering of the physical products and the software that supports their operation.<\/p>\n

Mechanical Engineering<\/h2>\n

MakersGround handled mechanical design for the printer system and related hardware. The development material includes printer, tray and curing-unit models, alongside photographs of assembled printer hardware. The Gomicron software environment includes slicing, support generation and shape analysis. A development screenshot shows a model arranged on a virtual printing tray with adjustable support settings. Printing Tray and Curing Hardware<\/h2>\n

The product material names the tray approach Zero Peeling Force (ZPF) and describes a dedicated silicone-Teflon membrane tray. A separate M-Curer applies UV exposure to printed resin parts, completing the product workflow alongside the printer and preparation software.<\/p>\n

Prototyping and Manufacturing<\/h2>\n
